Accredited Massage Courses Ltd

Terms and Conditions



When you make a confirmed booking, Accredited Massage Courses Ltd will check the course status, treat your confirmation as an order and acknowledge its acceptance by email.
Provisional Bookings

When you make a provisional booking and pay a deposit, a place will be reserved on the course.
To retain your place on the course, you must pay the balance of the course fee at least two weeks prior to the course commencement date. This can be paid online (if booked via the website) or by telephone.
On acceptance by Accredited Massage Courses Ltd, the booking will be treated as an order and we will issue confirmation appropriate to the chosen payment option.


Upon receipt of your payment in full, attendance instructions will be sent to you. If for whatever reason payment is not received, attendance at the course will not be permitted.
Payment Terms - short courses

For all one-day courses, payment is due when you make a booking.


For all courses of longer than one day, a deposit is due when the booking is first made. Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. The balance is then due two weeks prior to the course start date.  Payment terms can be agreed at the discretion of the company however, the full fee remains due unless we have received written cancellation at least 10 working days prior to the course start date.
Cheques must be made payable to Accredited Massage Courses Ltd. Only cheques and bank drafts which have “cleared” will be treated as received. If the customer fails to make any payment when due, Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to levy a late payment charge calculated at the rate of 2% per month accruing daily from the date the payment becomes due.

For practitioner certification, therapists must sign a form confirming that they hold ITEC or equivalent NVQ level 3 in Anatomy and Physiology and Massage and that they are professionally insured. You may be required to produce evidence both of qualifications and insurance. 


Undertaking a course will not necessarily qualify you in that discipline. Following completion of the course you will be given verbal feedback by your tutor.  When you have successfully completed the course you will be sent the diploma or certificate. In the event of your being unsuccessful which will be determined by your tutor, written feedback and an action plan will be provided to help you achieve success on a subsequent occasion.  Is such a case you will be allowed to repeat the course once free of charge.


All payments are non-transferable Unless agreed with Accredited Massage Courses Ltd at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the course. A refund of 50% of the course fee will be repaid if cancellation is received in writing prior to two weeks before the course. Course fees for cancellations within two weeks of the course date will not be refunded.


The deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable. Course fees are due in full two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations will only be accepted if made in writing and received at least two weeks before the start of the course. In this case the course fee less the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations within two weeks of the course start date cannot be accepted and any course fees paid will not be refunded. Any course fees unpaid will remain due in full. Where payment terms by instalment are agreed and written cancellation has not been received at least two weeks before the start of the course, the entire outstanding balance remains due. 


Entry to examinations is at the discretion of the tutor. This will be based upon satisfactory completion of all written coursework and course attendance.  You will be required to demonstrate your understanding of knowledge and skills both practically and orally.
Course Changes

Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to improve the specification and format of its courses for the benefit of all its customers without notice. Tutors may be changed without prior notice, to allow for other teaching commitments, leave or illness.
The location and date of the course will be as advised to the customer at the time of booking. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to change the location of the course and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known.
Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature. When this is unavoidable Accredited Massage Courses Ltd will refund in full all monies paid by the customer, or at the customer's option apply all monies to a rescheduled or alternative course.
Warranty and Liability

The student accepts that it is their responsibility to verify that the courses are suitable for their requirements and that they have the necessary level of competence and prerequisite qualifications where necessary to be able to achieve the objectives of the course.  Accredited Massage Courses Ltd liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course out of which the loss or damage has arisen. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss.


The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all course materials shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Accredited Massage Courses Ltd or, in the case of a course developed by a Partner of Accredited Massage Courses Ltd, the Partner organisation. You undertake that you will not copy or permit the copying of course materials, nor disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire the same to third parties, nor use the same for running your own courses.


Accredited Massage Courses Ltd is a complementary health academy. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by Accredited Massage Courses Ltd when Accredited Massage Courses Ltd decides that the account has been inappropriately used or otherwise.


Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to change prices of items or services at any time, however all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. In situations where the card number on file is declined Accredited Massage Courses Ltd will immediately suspend the service or delivery of item until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. In addition, Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared. All invoices will be sent directly to customers via email or standard post shortly after the online purchase has been made. At this point the customer's card will be charged automatically. All prices shown are in UK sterling and inclusive of VAT.


All payments must be in UK Pounds Sterling. In order to streamline our accounting procedures and keep costs down Accredited Massage Courses Ltd runs a limited number of payment options.


Accredited Massage Courses Ltd accepts MasterCard, Visa and Switch.


This option is available to customers.  A credit / debit card number will still be required if customers require the facility to purchase services/items on-line. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd cannot guarantee that a service will be provided until after any received cheques have been cleared. If your cheque is returned by the bank as unpaid for any reason, you will be liable for a "returned cheque" charge of £25.


Customers have a right to cancel an order within 7 days of us accepting payment. Students have a right to cancel a course within two weeks of commencement of course.  Students please refer to our terms with regard to refunds and cancellation. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to cancel a service or course at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a full refund.

We shall use our reasonable endeavours to make available to you at all times the products and services advertised on our website, but we shall not, in any event, be liable for interruptions of service caused by server downtime, upgrades and maintenance work. We aim to complete all orders within 24 hours of payment being received and cleared through our bank.


We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days. Complaints should be made in writing either by email to or written correspondence mailed to : The Directors, Accredited Massage Courses Ltd, 46 Umfreville Road, London, N4 1SB.


Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Accredited Massage Courses Ltd harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Accredited Massage Courses Ltd, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Accredited Massage Courses Ltd against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Accredited Massage Courses Ltd's website; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from Accredited Massage Courses Ltd's website.


Accredited Massage Courses Ltd makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by Accredited Massage Courses Ltd and its employees. Accredited Massage Courses Ltd reserves the right to revise its policies at any time. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

email address

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
